The "FREE" Wiggles Concert

We are lucky to have Brad's grandparents who have a friend that works for a radio station & on occasion they have "leftover" tickets that need to be used. Well we got 4 "free" tickets with a parking pass to see the Wiggles. I gladly accepted them because it was a chance to take the boys to do something besides watch TV & did I mention....they were FREE!!!! So off we went. Blake did not want to go & I told him that this is what our family is doing so he HAS to go. We got to sit in one of the suites which was pretty cool. We didn't get any FREE food or anything but oh well. We got a FREE show. Now let me just say, I am not a HUGE fan of The Wiggles & we honestly don't EVER watch it nowadays. Maybe a few times when Blake was younger but we just aren't huge fans. I like (I mean, WE like) Barney, Yo Gabba Gabba, Teletubbies (when they were younger)

and any of the other really annoying shows that most parents HATE. LOL!!! But....they put on a really FUN & entertaining show. Lots of singing, dancing, jumping & acrobatics. At one point one of the security guards had to take a child who had made his way up to the stage back to his seat in the front row. I guess he wasn't close enough. Finally at the end Blake got a little into it & Sonny had fun clapping. All in all....it was fun & I'm grateful we had the opportunity. The pictures aren't the best but we were a little far from the stage & my stinking batteries were dying. Of course.

Birtday Updates for July

I know!! Birthday's from July!! What the heck!! I finally got Brad to show me which plug I need to plug in to be able to get on my beloved PC!!! So here we go....In the beginning of July we celebrated "Grammy Sisa's" Birthday. And at the end we celebrated Aunt April's "30th" Birthday. Lots of fun & lots of ice cream which both boys are huge fans of.

Here is "Grammy Sisa" opening her gifts at Cool Hand Luke's. It was kind of a cool place to eat. Didn't even know it was there. We had a nice time with family. I think I got steak & mushrooms because I love sauteed mushrooms. (We had that for dinner last night...LOL)

We had fun & I had the boys glue buttons all over those clear plastic frames that you hang on the fridge. The boys had a lot of fun making them & I think Lisa liked them because her Grandsons made them for her. Next time I will get better glue.

Next we celebrated Aunt April's 30th Birthday by surprising her at our parents house. It was fun doing the surprise. She & her boyfriend (now Fiance) went out to eat at the Cheesecake factory & then came home to a house full of Birthday guests!! I've only had one surprise birthday party & it was so fun. My "Bonus" mom is really good at doing surprise Birthday's without people finding out.

My friend Brandy is so crafty & it didn't take that long & I even had all the supplies on hand. Awesome!! I hope April liked it & didn't think it was totally cheesy. Oh...the earrings that are on there were a gift too. Then I also made this.......

This is the inside of a little carryall bag that I got from MommyDiaries. They always have crafts that you can do in about an hour & other cool stuff. I intend to make more & they are the perfect thing for putting mom's stuff in & transferring from bag to bag. I'm actually going to make them for carrying my diapers & wipes in & switching that from bag to bag. I have one already that Grandmother made for me....but it's time for a new one & now I know how to do it. So anyway...we got to get "crafty" for the birthday's in July. I hope the recipients liked their gifts because we sure had fun making them.

Where oh Where are the computer cords??

So we've been here at my mom-in-laws for a week now. Last night Brad started to put the computer together (I am on the lap top right now) & not all of the cords are together. DANG IT!!!! I so need to have my regular PC set back up...it has pictures on it that I want to post about. I did find my camera & realized that I did not delete my most recent photos that I loaded onto the computer. I try to make sure they are on the computer before I delete them as I've been using Picasa 3 lately & learned that I need to load to the computer so that all photos will be transfered & not directly to Picasa 3. I've lost some photos doing it in reverse...sniff...sniff. At least I blogged about them before they suddenly disappeared. Thank goodness. Anyway...we go to get the cords & not all of them are there. Where are they? They were supposed to be all together but they're not. DANG IT!! Looking, looking, looking....everywhere!!! So I guess I'm going to give the mac a try with my photos & see what happens. Maybe I'll like it better...who knows....but I definitely need an outlet right now. I need a new book to read too. I was thinking about taking on The Work & the Glory...I started listening to them but haven't been able to get together with my friend to get the next audio. My mom-in-law has all of them....I just don't know. Maybe I'll give it a try.

A little 411

So we've had lots of changes in our family. Brad got a job!!!! Yay!!! I am so happy & glad that he's got a job. We also just moved out of our house & in with Brad's mom Lisa. We have been sooo busy with packing & moving that there has been little time for me to keep up with the blog. I am sure trying to catch up though. We are almost completely done. Just a few more little things & then the walk through with the people that bought the house & hopefully (cross your fingers) we'll get the bonus money they talked about. I hope they will be satisfied with the clean up job. I do have to give some shout outs to a few people that helped out soooo much. My friend Jaime!!! If not for all her help every single day I don't think we'd be done yet!!! Thanks Jaime, you are the bomb!!! My friend Hollie who will be in my new ward helped out so much too. Then my bonus mom Dawn, & sisters Alicia & April helped on the BIG move day & cleaning!!! Lisa, Grandmother & Grandad, & Clayton & his buddies & Donovan. Thank goodness for everyone who helped. I know the Lord will bless you all & I appreciate your help soooo much!!!! Now it's time to unpack & purge again. We threw a lot of stuff away & gave a lot to DI already. They will be getting more as soon as I'm done with all of the boys clothes. Thank goodness Lisa is patient & kind. I'm trying to do it as fast as I can. So, just wanted to give all my peeps a little update. After my regular computer is set up I will continue updating from July. We had a couple more birthdays & other stuff that we've done. Just can't wait!!!
