I'm excited & nervous

So, I've been getting all of my stuff from Demarle at Home. This stuff is sooo AWESOME!!! I'm excited & nervous about doing my upcoming Rendez-Vous. I will be sending out invites to my friends & family. I hope that my friends will come & give me support & learn about these awsome tools for cooking & baking. I'm excited to try my stuff out with new & old recipes & most of you know that I do not do the cooking. Maybe this is what I've always needed to get me interested in cooking. Hope everything goes well. I'll keep everyone updated!

7 Year Anniversary!!!

Celebrate!!

Today is Bryan's birthday. Happy Birthday Bryan. We're going to dinner to celebrate his day & also to celebrate mine & Brad's 7th anniversary. Hope to take some pics.

Do you know what I hate?

I totally hate it when you're driving & the person in front of you DOES NOT use their blinker or when you're waiting to turn & the person coming down the street DOES NOT use their blinker so you know that it would be safe to go. Come on people, be courteous & USE your blinkers!!!!

It's Official

Yup, it's official. I am an official Demarle at Home Representative. I should be receiving all of my materials sometime next week. I'm very excited & hope that this will be a fun way to make some extra money & see old friends & meet new ones. I hope that you all will be willing to give me a helping hand. I will let you know when I have my 1st Rendez-Vous.
We have soccer tonight. Maybe Blake will score another goal, but he's pretty tired today. We'll see what happens.

My good friend Karen (another Twilight addict) called to let me know that she was on the official website & the book that Stephenie Meyer is writing from Edward's point of view was leaked so she posted it on the website for everyone to read. Blake scored!!!

We are sooo excited & proud of Blake. He scored a goal @ his soccer game tonight. You should've seen how excited he was, jumping up & down & waving his hands in the air. We promised him that if he scored a goal that we would take him to Godfather's pizza to eat dinner & play video games. Soooo, that's where we went. We had fun & I even ran into some old acquaintences ( the Burnett's) while we were there & chatted for just a few minutes remembering how we knew eachother. What a fun night.

How To Make Silver Cotton Candy

You need silver sugar, Silver bread, Silver eggs, Silver hair, Silver candy, Silver cotton. Then a silver fan, silver sticks. Mix together & there you go. Blake gave me this recipe on his way home from school. Not really sure where it came from but, kids are fun. If you want green cotton candy you need the same ingredients but in GREEN.

The Reception

So here are some pics of the reception. There are not as many as I had hoped for cuz my little angel photographer Blake was oh so fascinated with all of the little girls that were running around. Oh well. We had fun & I'm sure that Debbie (the real photographer) got lots of good pics. Again, these pics are by Blake so forgive any errors there may be & be impressed by the pics that turned out really good.

We went to the Temple on 9/5/08 for Bryan & Kimi's sealing. I let Blake have my camera to take pics cuz he had so much fun being a photographer @ Aunt Amelia & Uncle Eric's wedding. He had fun this time too. There are way too many pics to post (if only I could figure out how to do a slide show), so here are just a few random shots. FYI, it was a very nice wedding. I'm happy for Bryan & Kimi. Libby in her cute dress.

The Favors

So, here's a couple of crude pics of the favors that I worked on for the Babes wedding reception. Man it took forever but they sure turned out cute. The neutral colored m&m's said 9/5/08 or Kimi & Bryan. Very cute!!

Today's The Big Day

Today's a Big day. Bryan & Kimi are going to the Temple to be sealed for time & eternity. I'm so excited for them. It brings back a lot of memories of when Brad & I were sealed almost 7 years ago. I'm so glad that I have Brad. I love him very much!! I've been working on all the party favors for the reception. I've been taking pictures of the work in progress. I will post those later. I'm glad they don't have to be done tonight, cuz I still have a ways to go. Plus, I'm feeling sort of run down what with staying up into the wee hours of like every night this week. Anyway I'm sure I'll have pics from outside the Temple & the reception up sometime next week. Congrats Bryan & Kimi. Welcome to the best in-laws in the world Kimi :)!!!!!!

Weekend at Tahoe

We got to go up to Tahoe last weekend for the annual Westco Tahoe Golf Classic over Labor Day weekend to help raise money for the Leukemia Society. It was a very nice weekend & I'm so glad we got to go. It was cooler there than it was back here in Sac but man it was still HOT & of course I did not pack any shorts or skirts. Oh well we all had a very nice time. I didn't get tons of great pics ( I need to work harder on that) but here's some from the weekend.

We put Blake & Sonny to work right away. They were in charge of putting all of the morning beverages on ice. Sonny loves ice but he likes to lick it & then throw it back in. Ewww....gross!! Then Blake was in charge of putting all of the raffle tickets into the drawing. He said it was " the BEST job he ever had!" He did such a great job & it kept him occupied.

We went to the beach on Friday afternoon just
for a little bit. Blake insisted that he needed to
go in the water even though he said it was freezing.

Here's a not so good picture of our cabing. It was nice. The only thing that was bad were the stairs. They were awful. The first night I missed a step & fell into the wall. At least I didn't fall on my butt or something. And there were a few other times that I almost fell. They were not friendly stairs & sometimes I'm clutzy.

Oh well, I do look better with a little color. Brad even got to go spend time & the casino with his Buddy Chris & watch college football. We all got to do something we wanted to do & had fun doing it. Wish I would've taken more pics. Oh well, next year.
